The annual IU homecoming parade will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and 17th Street and will end at the Indiana Memorial Union. After the parade a pep rally will be in Dunn Meadow to conclude the event, according to a press release from IU Bloomington News.

Before the parade there will be a block party with food trucks, and family-friendly activities will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. at Woodlawn Avenue and 17th Street.

Tailgating lots will be open before the football game against Iowa on Saturday. A Hoosier Huddle with live entertainment, food and beverages for the members of the IU Alumni Association will begin at 9 a.m. at the tent behind the Devault Alumni Center. The cost is $20 per person for adults, $10 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under the age of 5, according to the press release.
